Psalm 46:10 NIV
“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the
nations, I will be exalted in the earth”

When faced with our complete inability to change a situation or
circumstance, we have come to a place where a truth, most
certainly “The Truth” (for all truth is His Truth), has lovingly
watched over and gently led us.
For He is God, our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. He is our
Good Shepherd who leads us beside still waters.

This song came from a season and situation of striving for a loved
one in prayer.
Their’s had not been an easy road. Much of it we had traveled
together.
The situation was dire, but there was now, no more that I could do.
In anguish of heart, I could only lift them and their situation to God
in Christ, and pray for His mercy and provision.

Thanks be to God, who in His loving kindness, spared, protected,
and restored them.

May this song be an encouragement to you.

Exodus 14:14 NIV
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.

Lyrics

To be still and know that you are God
With this world passing by
To be still and know that you are God
And your will, will provide
Takes eyes that see in dark places
And ears that strain for faint traces
Of hope and peace and redeeming graces
Oh I know, I know

To be still and know that you are God
And with words speak your peace
To be still and know that you are God
‘til these storms break and cease
Takes prayerful steps just one at a time
Like a halting beggar who deaf and blind
Still gropes in the dark his way to find
Oh I know, I know

Oh I’m just a man and I’m passing away
But the way that I’m passing shines brighter than day
Through the death and the darkness and the empty grave
Oh I know, I know

To be still and know that you are God
Whom the sparrow doth call
To be still and know that you are God
And believe, believe for us all
With patience and kindness and longsuffering
‘til the walls fall down
And freedom rings
And faith and hope and love all do sing
Oh I know, I know
To be still and know that you are God
